Mindfulness.
Just saying the word, seriously, can overwhelm the crap out of an already overwhelmed, overscheduled, and stressed out parent. Not only are parents expected to BE mindful. Now everyone wants us to RAISE "mindful" children. Lucky for you (& me) that most children are innately mindful! In fact, adults could take a few cues from the younger generation on how to stay balanced. Which bring us to the word that makes us all cringe: BALANCE. Sure! Something else we are supposed to achieve! Just throw once more big log on the to-do list, #amIright? In today's episode, Robert and Nicole discuss the topics of mindfulness and balance and whether mothers, like Nicole, who feel utterly strapped for time, can even achieve such. Thanks for listening. As always, we hope you enjoy!

Have you ever told your child, "stop crying"?
We all know how we should assist our kids to recognize, label, define and express their feelings. But a parent dealing with #ALLTHETHINGS doesn't always have the energy to deal with their own feelings, not to mention a kid whose “go-to” is to tear up. In this first episode, Nicole and Robert discuss the "toughen up" attitude that many parents apply to their children. They also get into what it takes to give your kids access to the "life buffet." Tune in and grab yourself some of what we are dishing out on today's menu! Robert and Nicole share their reasons for coming together to create the Worst Parent Ever podcast and give you a preview of what you can expect in upcoming episodes. (TL;DR an honest conversation about family, kids, and marriage)
Nicole and Robert break down how responsibilities can be shared and balanced, even when they have too much going on. In this trailer for the podcast 'I Am The Worst Parent Ever,' learn how two different husbands attempt to lighten their wives' "motherloads" and why a broken vacuum isn't the end of the world.
